British philosopher and humanist.

Saw him talk in London, with Emma, and again at the Education Festival in 2012. I've always been a bit dubious about him, he's just so boring almost every time I watch or listen to him. Then when I saw him in 2012 I concluded he is a massive snob. He decided to use some of his talk to advocate the vital importance of grammar and precise use of language, and just came across as a complete upper class bore, and I realised that kinda characterises everything I've seen of him in a lot of ways. I'm on the Stephen Fry side of the grammar war, and extremely grateful to him for enlightening me.
