I just watched it some time at home in early 2020, I can't remember the circumstances but I think I just thought I should watch it so I did over a couple of evenings while teaching or something. I'd heard some of the controversy of course with the fans spitting and spluttering about feminism etc. With my new found interest in feminism from the Reylos, I was somewhat interested in trying to see this from their perspective, which may have made me more sympathetic towards it? Except it's not like I don't enjoy female protagonists so maybe not.
Anyway, I found it pretty standard boring Marvel fare. Nothing to thrill me; plot, characters, dialogue, music, cinematography - all just 'fine'.
