Came across it in English at secondary school, along with Lord of the Flies. We read through the book and talked a lot about it, had a lot of context explained, and I really enjoyed it. We watched the BBC drama too and that's really good, very well made. I'd like to read it again.

Second read[]
Journal[]
Pretty sure I read it again pre-wiki, and enjoyed it.
Third read (January 2013)[]
Format[]
Paperback, borrowed I think but it's been on my bookshelf for ages now.
Journal[]
Started it on the way to work on January 19th 2013, after finishing Misspent Youth. Starting with Sense and Sensibility in 2011 I've decided to read Jane Austen's books as they were published, 200 years on.
Finished it on the 1st of February, having read it to and from school placement most days. Loved it to pieces! One of my favourite books.
