2013 film based on a book by a man who lived some approximation of the events therein recounted, where a man traumatised by his experiences in the WWII being captured by the Japanese and forced to build railways discovers the location of one Japanese man in particular who he has reason to hate.

Mum wanted to see it, I wasn't bothered, but we went anyway one Sunday in early January 2014, and I quite liked it. Not perfect, but drew me in enough times to warrant a 1. Atmospheric. Beginning was weird as hell though.
